I wish the Viking was as nearly "mint" as this receiver.

The mics I'm trying are an Electro-Voice model 638 and an Astatic D-104.

The feedline goes to a Murch UT-2000 roller inductor tuner and a G5RV antenna.

Transmitter & Receiver are sitting on top of a vintage HiFi speaker with 15 inch cone that was rescued before the junkman could it.

I'm really looking forward to some good rag chews on 75 and 40. Maybe the noise will settle down soon.
