While I was putting all the "stuff" back in my display case I kept running across things that had been in there a long

time and I had forgotten about. It was almost like Christmas morning opening presents.

One of the things I unwrapped was the strange capacitor shown in the photos below. I have no memory as to where it came from or what it was used for. It's really heavy duty. Do you have any idea what or where it was used.

I've been intending to put the Cap. meter on it and see what value it is.

It's hard to tell from the photo, the plate in the first photo is about 2" square.
